For all of us cheap asses: the Mikaru Transition
Sale is now live! (Everything $20)

{25th of September 08}

Mikaru has landed a deal with world famous fashion label, American Apparel. Crazy times, right? To make room for our new designs, our new tees and our new pretty much everything, we’re holding a transition sale for our remaining stock. Which means you get some well deserved, magical, spectacular cheap goodness.

All our current shirts will now be for sale for twenty bucks. There aren’t many left (literally a handful), so hurry while they last.

Also, have you noticed our shop? The sexy, sassy and secure PayPal shopping cart is now available, so orders will now be easier and more convenient.

*NOTE: to use the Transition Sale in the shopping cart, simply type “junksale” into the coupon code.

**PLEASE NOTE due to such low stock, your purchase CANNOT be guaranteed. You will be contacted shortly after your purchase if the shirt is no longer in stock.

Ahh! THE GREATS!

{21st of September 08}

Forget the sun, the glorious weather and the happiest moment of your life. Open your windows, clench your fists, get ready: THE GREATS have arrived. They infiltrated the Brisbane City streets with their laughter and explosive smiles to compete in the City Romp. Word is they smoked the day for all its worth.

The clever design was conjured by Alvin Dayan and the shirts were provided and printed by none other than Mikaru.

Congratulations to Bounce Street Dance Studio

{20th of June 08}

The crew at Bounce have been awarded best costume at a Groove International dance comp. Yes, those neon shining zombie-like tees were none other than products of Mikaru.

Young Designer’s Market

{8th of June 08}

This week, an army of turtleneck gloating, skinny jeans and baggy shirt wearing designers with thick rimmed glasses and fashionable hair (okay, not really) hit up the streets of South Bank to boast their passion at the Young Designer’s Market. The crew at Mikaru Headquarters, of course, were there.

Overall, it was a successful day: many sales were made, business cards were handed and everyone looked happy with money put to good use and a fresh tee in their hands.

Funny thing: we slept in. Because of that, we were late. Because we were late, we were given the biggest table at the back. Because we were at the back, we were given an extra table (the person next to our table didn’t end up coming). So in the end, we got the biggest, most visible table in the market – all because we slept through our alarms and were late.

The moral of the story is to always be late.
